Open Bathy is built by the community for the community. OpenBathy pulls data from as far and wide from possible, spanning large spatial and temporal domains. For this, we rely on the community to make their data accessible. You can become part of this community by submitting your data to the OpenBathy database. By filling out a simple web form you can contribute your data and help build the largest community of available reference bathymetry data.

Is your data proprietary? No problem! You can still create a data record, giving your data and work exposure while maintaining the privacy of the dataset. We encourage all data to be made openly accessible, but in cases where this is not possible, database records are suitable replacements as data archives.

OpenBathy does not host data, we envision this site as listing service for available bathymetry datasets. We encourage contributors to use an "open science" repository to make their data availible and citeable.

Data Privacy Statement: OpenBathy collects email addresses as part of the submission process. We will not share/publish your email outside of the OpenBathy working group.
